Ratings, payloads and tow limits vary by model year, engine, axle ratio and equipment, so always confirm them for your exact vehicle (the door-jamb label and owner’s manual list your limits; check your VIN for recalls at nhtsa.gov).

Safety first

Towing and off-road driving carry real risk. Our guides point out the ratings to check, the equipment to carry and the points where a qualified mechanic, hitch installer or experienced guide should be involved. We do not sell vehicles.
